The Islwyn Junior Football League in the South of Wales covers the area of Blaenau Gwent Council and the former Islwyn District Council.

Hosting 22 clubs across multiple divisions and various cup competitions with age groups from Under 6s through to Under 16s, our aim is to continue growing the participation of football in our local area.

The League implemented the new FAW Small Sided Football Regulations, offering central venue format for our Under 6s to Under 9s with Lead Coordinators. Our Under 10s and Under 11s follow the festival format placed in groups of 4 or 5 teams, each have an opportunity to host.

The League implemented 9v9 Small Sided Football for the Under 12s and Under 13s prior to its requirement.
